Our client in the auto manufacturing sector is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to support tooling reliability and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace. This role focuses on mold repair, preventative maintenance, and ensuring production continuity. Location: Belleville, OntarioResponsibilities

Perform mold repair and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of work orders Log and track all repair activities within CMMS systems Conduct preventative maintenance on molds and related equipment Maintain spare parts inventory and tooling documentation Support production by prioritizing urgent tool repairsInspect new tooling with engineering teams to ensure compliance with standards Fabricate and maintain fixtures and end‑of‑arm tooling Maintain accurate records of tooling changes and repairs Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve tooling performance Requirements

Licensed Mold Maker, Millwright, Tool&Die Maker, or Machinist Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or tooling Strong understanding of industrial machinery and processes Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude Experience troubleshooting tooling and equipment issues Familiarity with lockout/tagout safety proceduresStrong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance systems
