Résidence Les Richeloises is a senior living facility located along the banks of the Richelieu River. We are currently seeking a Sous‑Chef for a temporary, full‑time position (sick leave replacement with an indefinite term). The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with one weekend out of two as needed. Responsibilities

Assist the head chef in daily tasks and step in to replace the head chef as needed. Assemble and plate food, ensuring quality and presentation standards. Clean kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to promote teamwork and efficient workflow. Create tasty menus while respecting quality expectations and the allocated budget.Use products and equipment in accordance with safety, quality, hygiene, and cleanliness rules. Plan, prepare, and cook meals following appropriate methods and standards. Supervise and mobilize staff in the kitchen during meal preparation. Propose menu ideas and collaborate with the chef when appropriate.Qualifications

Training certification from MAPAQ. Production diploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivalent. At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a large food service volume. Basic computer skills. Strong team player with good communication skills. Benefits
