Construction Project Manager | Civil Engineering, Sainte-Thérèse-de-Blainville South

You will report to the project director. Your main role will be to participate in the planning, organization, direction, and control of work across various projects. The work is primarily based at the Saint-Eustache office, with occasional travel to our construction sites.

Salary : $100,000 to $120,000 + Performance bonus, depending on your profile and experience.

Analyze plans, specifications, and general conditions;

Visit project sites based on project and bid requirements;

Prepare calls for tenders;

Meet with the client at various stages of the project;

Coordinate and supervise all stages of the project;

Ensure cost control;

Assess costs of additional work and issue change requests;

Enforce safety on job sites and implement the prevention program in coordination with foremen;

Ensure quality control;

Supervise the site foreman or superintendent;

Finalize project costs upon project completion;

Contribute to the company’s continuous improvement;

Perform all other related tasks;

Negotiate with suppliers;

Document and resolve claims files.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s or college degree in civil engineering, or any other relevant training;

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;

Knowledge of Quebec’s construction laws and regulations;

Proficient in Word and Excel.

SKILLS

You can work under pressure and know how to prioritize;

You have strong negotiation and client relationship skills;

You communicate information well both in writing and verbally.
