Senior Electrical Engineering Designer, Courtice

Lead transformer design initiatives as a Senior Electrical Engineering Designer. Deliver quality designs, interface with customers, and support manufacturing efforts while pursuing a Professional Engineering Designation.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will report to the Director and focus on designing transformers and reactors of varied complexity. This position requires engaging with customers to meet their technical needs and optimizing project costs. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality outputs while supporting a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop designs for complex transformers and reactors • Collaborate with customers on project specifications • Prepare detailed quotes and ensure alignment with costs • Optimize designs and approve manufacturing processes • Address customer and QA issues effectively

Requirements:• Preferred: BSc. in Electrical Engineering; minimum: Technologist • 3-5 years’ design experience in transformers • Deep understanding of electrical fundamentals • Proficient with engineering software and calculations • Strong communication and hands-on problem-solving skills
