Because we believe that your career path should be as unique as you are.Group Summary:The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.Job Responsibilities:QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:Immediate, open position$80,000 - $100,000 annual compensationCPA designation requiredMinimum 2+ years of manufacturing accounting experience in a fast-paced automotive environment an assetExtensive background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting and meeting deadlinesAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macro’s, VLOOKUP)Analytical skills backed by high proficiency in dealing with dataAbility to tackle loosely defined problems by asking the right questions.Strong organizational skills, comfortable with multi-tasking and project management abilitiesExperience conducting deep dive analysis with large volumes of dataExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience working with PowerBI, SQL, Hyperion, Power Ledger, GSD system and TraX is an assetAnnual Audits (SOX, Magna Year End, Government)Ability to respect and maintain the confidential nature of the departmentMAIN DUTIES:Collaborate with team in the preparation of complex financial reportsCross train financial, general and management accountant rolesAssist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly, quarterly and yearly reportingProvide support to department leaders through financial and operational analysisand throughout the applicable budget and forecasting processLiaises with external auditors and other department personnelAssist with internal and external financial auditsCreate journal entries, reconcile sub-ledgers for assigned accountsIntegral part of month end close activities and financial statements with detailed analysisBack up to key accounting rolesPerforms other duties as assignedAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
