Eligibility Requirements Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection status (international students are not eligible)
Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
About EarlyON EarlyON Child and Family Centres provide children and parents/caregivers opportunities to participate in high quality play and inquiry-based programs, led and facilitated by Registered Early Childhood Educators.
Principal Job Duties
Assist with preparing materials for crafts and activities
Ensure room is set up for each session
Maintain a safe, positive, enriching environment for children through plan
Role-model positive child-parent interactions during group sessions
Role-model positive child-adult interactions during group sessions
Communicates with parents as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Enjoys a variety of tasks
Experience working with children and families
Able to work with a team and independently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role is well suited for candidates looking for experience in family support and early childhood education
