Randstad Guelph is looking for a passionate Machine Operator who enjoys working with a Slitter Machine and picking up new skills. The ideal candidate has a background in machine operating, is able to perform mathematical calculations, and is comfortable working in a dusty environment. This fast-growing company in the East end of Guelph is looking for a team of day shift Machine Operators for their fabrication shop. The wage starts at $20/hour, with a $2/hour shift premium for the afternoon shift. This shift runs on a 4/10 (Monday-Thursday).Advantages
Day shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Mon-Fri) Afternoon shift 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM (Mon-Thurs) Long term to hire position Wonderful team environment Opportunity to learn new things $20 4% vacation pay added each week Responsibilities
Read work orders Setup and calibrate machinery Load machines Run the machine and make adjustments as needed Inspect finished products Filling out required documentation Routine packaging Perform routine maintenance Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience Previous experience on a Slitter Machine or similar machines is considered an asset Previous CNC experience Willingness and ability to learn Heavy lifting required Summary
