Fall 2026 – Co‑Op/Development – Engineering Programs – Durham Region Location: ON, CA, L1H 2W8 Status: Contract (4 or 8 months) Working Conditions: On‑site Education Level: University, minimum 1st year completed Shift: Days Travel: 10% Deadline to Apply: May 29, 2026 Salary Range: $33.59 – $44.77 per hour JOB OVERVIEW As a Co‑Op Student at OPG, you’ll gain hands‑on experience and develop valuable skills for your future career. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Contribute to real‑world projects that align with your field of study and career interests. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support project goals and deliverables. - Apply classroom knowledge to practical, hands‑on work assignments. - Learn and adapt to recent tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the industry. - Assist with day‑to‑day tasks and ensure smooth operations within your assigned department. - Take ownership of delegated responsibilities and deliver quality results. - Communicate effectively with team members, mentors, and stakeholders. - Engage in mentorship opportunities to gain insights and guidance from experienced professionals. QUALIFICATIONS - Currently enrolled as a full‑time, post‑secondary student in a recognized institution, pursuing one of the following areas of study: - Chemical Engineering - Civil Engineering - Computer Engineering - Electrical Engineering - Engineering Physics - Mechanical Engineering - Nuclear Engineering - Nuclear Physics - Procurement Engineering - Software Engineering - Other Engineering disciplines - Have completed a minimum of 1st year in an undergraduate program at university by the start of the opportunity. - Returning to full‑time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co‑op placement to graduate. - Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA (transcript must be included in application). - All successful candidates will be required to complete a security clearance application. - Candidates will provide required government‑issued physical documents for the clearance process.
