Front Desk Agent (Bowmanville)

We’re looking for someone to join our awesome team as a Front Desk Agent at Holiday Inn Express in Bowmanville. When you’ll work here, you’ll feel right at home. It’s an environment where guests are your neighbours, co-workers are your friends and where simple acts make for lasting impressions. Things you would be required to do: - Check- in guests in and out of hotel - Book reservations for individuals, families and groups as required - Provide excellent customer service as per hotel and Brand standards - Greet walk-in guests and guests with reservations when they arrive at the front desk - Schedule services, such as taxi pick-ups, when guests inquire - Refer guests to local amenities and venues - Communicate guests’ requests and complaints to the appropriate department The Ideal candidate should have - Front Office experience - Must be quick on their feet - If you speak multiple languages, it would definitely be an asset - You should be neat, qualified and well groomed - You should possess strong organization time management skills, attentive to details - If you have previous experience with computers in a service related position, it would be awesome - You should be able to stand for extended periods of time - You should possess excellent communication skills - Positive attitude and outgoing personality is essential **Please note you must be able to work Shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays We look forward to seeing your application.
