Support the Guelph General Hospital team as a Professional Staff and Credentialing Assistant. This role requires strong organization and communication skills to manage credentialing processes and facilitate positive relationships.
Join Guelph General Hospital's dedicated staff, assisting the Chief of Staff and numerous professional members, including Physicians, Midwives, and Nurse Practitioners. You will coordinate credentialing and administrative duties while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies. Be ready to manage multiple priorities and support decision-making processes in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate the credentialing and privileging process for staff • Maintain accurate credentialing database • Serve as a liaison between staff and departments • Facilitate committee meetings and documentation • Manage mentorship and orientation for new staff
Requirements:• Minimum of three years administrative experience in credentialing • Knowledge of application and reappointment processes • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and medical terminology • Exceptional organizational and time management skills • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
