Clinical Instructor for PSW Program Guelph, Courtice

Shape future Personal Support Workers as a Clinical Instructor at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph. Oversee placements and enhance learning experiences for students.

This position requires a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with two years of experience in dynamic environments. Engage with long-term care staff to facilitate learning, support student progress, and deliver effective clinical instruction. You will coordinate with instructors and organize learning opportunities to ensure student success throughout the PSW Program.

Key Responsibilities:• Facilitate student placements within long-term care homes • Lead clinical post-conferences for student learning • Support students and LTC staff with feedback • Conduct mid-term meetings to assess student progress • Complete final evaluations and document attendance

Requirements:• Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) • Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Brightspace LMS • Familiarity with SMART goal setting
