We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Guelph, Ontario, to manage Payroll Administration, Accounts Receivable, and provide accounting support. Responsibilities
Payroll
Maintain and process payroll for hourly and salary employees at all AWC locations. Process all statutory remittances (Receiver General, EHT, WSIB, RSP, etc.). Reconcile benefit provider invoices and payroll deductions monthly and investigate discrepancies. Track vacation pay, time off, and other employee benefits.Monitor payroll‑related G/L accounts, prepare payroll reconciliations and supporting schedules for month‑end review. Prepare payroll‑related accruals and provide supporting schedules for month‑end close. Prepare and process expense reimbursement reports, employee expenses and benefits (safety allowances,travel, etc.).Document payroll variances versus budget and explain differences. Ensure payroll processing complies with federal and provincial requirements (CRA, ESA); raise compliance issues as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company financial data. Collaborate with HR and operations to keep employee data accurate.Prepare and reconcile annual T4s, T4As, WSIB annual reconciliation, EHT annual return, and other statutory year‑end filings. Maintain payroll system updates, earning codes, deductions, benefit rates, and employee master data. Accounts Receivable
Generate and distribute AR invoices for shipped products and deposit billings. Email invoices and statements to customers upon request. Apply payments to customer accounts and process bank deposits. Follow up on collections of past‑due invoices. Resolve AR discrepancies. Support credit approval process by preparing customer information and documentation.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Canadian payroll experience; PCP certification is an asset. ADP experience preferred. College diploma or at least two years of experience in accounts payable. ERP system experience is an asset. Highly organized with great attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Robust communication skills. Job Details
Job type: Full‑time (Permanent) Contract length: 20 months Salary: $65,000.00—$70,000.00 per year Work location: In‑person, Guelph, Ontario Required experience: Accounts receivable – 2 years (preferred); Payroll – 2 years (required) Benefits
