As the Indigenous Student Recruitment Officer, you will develop targeted initiatives to enhance Indigenous student enrollment at the University of Guelph. Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, the ideal candidate will focus on building relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations while delivering culturally relevant presentations. This temporary full-time position also involves collaboration with various university departments to align recruitment practices with community-informed strategies.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop Indigenous-focused recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment goals • Build relationships with Indigenous communities and educational partners • Represent the university at community visits and recruitment events • Deliver engaging presentations for prospective Indigenous students• Support collaboration with offices on recruitment strategies

Requirements:• Undergraduate degree required • 2 years of experience in recruitment or community engagement • Understanding of Indigenous cultures and communities • Strong communication and presentation skills • Valid G Class Ontario Driver’s License for travel
