About the UGDSB The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 6,500 staff who serve more than 35,000 students across 66 elementary and 11 secondary schools, as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in Dufferin, Wellington and Guelph.

THE OPPORTUNITY This temporary part‑time role is for an ESL/LINC Instructor in the non‑credit adult ESL program at St. George’s Centre.

FTE: 5 hours and 20 minutes per week, Monday and Wednesday 6:20pm– 9:00pm. Hourly pay $36.49–$44.84.

Start date no sooner than July 6, 2026; anticipated end July 29, 2026.

Experience and Qualifications

TESL Ontario accreditation in good standing

Excellent knowledge of the Canadian Language Benchmarks

Familiarity with LINC curriculum documents

Knowledge of and experience with Portfolio Based Language Assessment

Proven ability to develop and deliver a multi‑level task‑based curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

Proven commitment to learner success

Excellent organizational and reporting skills

Familiarity with Google Classroom is an asset
