Group Summary: The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:
Directs or coordinates electronic engineering or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices require to test electronic devices and record test data.
Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as products or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
Analyze and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct test on electronic products and systems or software.
Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware or software, as well as proper problem‑solving techniques.
Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measure and monitoring improvements.
Coordinate with third party development of in‑circuit test programs and enhancements.
Performs written analysis of fault code.
Coordinate with third party to develop quotes for test development and enhancements.
Performs analysis / Gauge R&R (Design for Test).
Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures.
Coordinates with third party the development of EOL testers.
Modifies and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
Supports functional test hardware, computer platforms, and interfaces.
Co‑ordinate the development of test procedures with the engineering team.
Perform failure/ root cause analysis for all EOL tester failures and warranty return.
Develops and/or modifies software (Automated Optical Inspection specific) or system level plans and tests.
Analyze and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware).
Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
Performs test ability analysis (Design for Test).
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications&Skills:
Completion of university degree in electronic engineering or similar.
5 to less than 7 years of work‑related experience.
Salary Range:
$75,000 to $90,000
