EXP Mining Senior Structural Engineer, Brampton

Lead engineering projects as a Senior Structural Engineer with EXP’s Mining team, available in Brampton, Sudbury, or North Bay, Ontario. You will design and analyze crucial structures within mining operations.

This demanding senior role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and an active P.Eng. certification. You will leverage over 12 years of experience in the heavy industrial sector as you analyze, design, and review critical structures. Collaboration with other disciplines and clients will ensure alignment on project objectives and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform thorough site inspections of mining infrastructure • Analyze and design steel and concrete structures per codes • Collaborate with designers on detailed engineering drawings • Prepare scope documents and engineering reports • Review junior engineer work and provide guidance

Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline • Mandatory P.Eng. registration in Ontario • At least 12 years of mining project experience • Strong background in structural inspections • Proficient in STAAD.Pro for structural design
