Videographer (Social Media/Video Editing) - $17.60/hour hybrid position (remote/in-person), mostly remote but for July 6 - July 31 1, 2026 (4 weeks), must be available to be in-person on location in Brampton, from 10AM - 1PM - Must be available to come to weekly in-person meetings in Brampton - Monday - Friday, 30 hours/week - 9 weeks: June 1, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Description - Help train and manage a team of individuals of all abilities to learn and use technology that will enhance the camp program and create opportunities for campers and users to engage with each other on a protected and accessible platform - Help develop and design the technology associated with programming and rolling out an online summer camp for youth with developmental delays - Work with the Camp Manager to schedule/roll out necessary content (calendars, schedules, etc.) to our platforms - Maintain the Life Lessonz website/YouTube channel videos, as well as our other social media platforms - Set up filming equipment and to film the program for our live audience on Zoom every day during the program - Create assets that will be used during the program (digital backgrounds, transition clips, intros/outros, etc.) - Create a “cut-and-paste” booklet for the participants to use during the Summer Program - Produce, edit, and upload five (5) Virtual Summer programs in real time with in-person options and package them for uploading purposes (our website, YouTube, Spotify, etc.) every day - Create, market, and track social media content’s statistics across our social media platforms - Create project overview video/poster for grant committee - Attend, participate, engage, and contribute to ALL live shows and weekly check-ins - You will be part of the administrative team to organize, create, and record video/audio content which will support the 2026 Life Lessonz Summer Day Program Requirements - Able to work in person and work remotely in a hybrid team setting - Detail-oriented, creative, adaptable, engaging/enthusiastic, personable, independent, and collaborative - Must have experience with TikToks/Instagram Reels and other forms of social media content creation - Must have experience with video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro/Adobe software) & video editing/content creation - Experience with Wix or other similar website design programs is considered an asset - Experience with Hootsuite or other social media management platforms is considered an asset - Experience with live video software, e.g., Zoom, is considered an asset Application - Submit an updated resume - 3+ pieces of sample work (previously edited videos, graphics, portfolio, etc.) - 3+ pieces of social media samples (static posts/graphics, TikTok/reels, etc.) This position is funded by the 2026 Canada Summer Jobs Program. To be eligible, youth must: - be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period, - be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment; and, - have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
