The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in meat preparation and South Asian cuisines, along with leadership experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Languages Required - English Education & Experience - Secondary (high) school graduation certificate - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role Work Setting - Restaurant and food service environment - On-site kitchen operations Key Responsibilities · Prepare and cook Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and quality standards. · Ensure timely food preparation to meet high-volume take-out orders. · Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation of all menu items. · Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times. · Manage proper handling, storage, and rotation of raw ingredients. · Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. · Assist in menu planning and daily food preparation scheduling. · Monitor food quality and make adjustments to meet customer expectations. · Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs. · Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
