Description We are currently seeking a Corporate Process Engineering Co-Op to join our process engineering team at our Corporate Engineering department location in Brampton, ON.
This Co-Op position will work together as part of our team to develop skills through a learning process. It is a good chance for students who want to improve skills on P&ID development using Plant 3D software, to put process engineering theory into practice, and to gain experience in process safety reviews.
Responsibilities
Working closely with designers/ engineers on various tasks regarding preparing engineering documents.
Involved in P&ID development using Plant 3D and/or AutoCAD, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances.
Involved in general administration tasks such as organizing document and files
Other duties as may be required with additional information
Qualifications
Current student enrolled in a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering program. Recent graduates will be considered as well.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated as a quick leaner and eager to learn new knowledge
Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail when preparing engineering drawings and documents
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
