Sustainability & Sanitization Cleaner (Brampton)

SUSTAINABILITY & SANITIZATION CLEANER Shift: Continental Days Pay Rate: 17.60$ / hour Location: Milton, ON Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring cleanliness, sanitization, and sustainability practices across Office, Plant, and Warehouse areas at Keter to maintain a secure and healthy work environment. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: - Sanitize and disinfect all commonly touched surfaces including door handles, timeclocks, workstations, lunchroom tables and countertops; - Vacuum, sweep and mop floors across office, plant and warehouse areas; - Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of washrooms, changerooms, lunchrooms and common spaces; - Replenish washroom and lunchroom supplies as required; - Sort and dispose of recyclable materials into designated collection bins; - Clean and maintain compactor and waste management area; - Compact recycled materials including corrugate, plastic, paper and nylon strapping; - Exterior duties including cigarette butt disposal and bird dropping cleanup as required; - All other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Skills & Competencies: - Self-directed and highly motivated team member; - Strong attention to detail; - Basic ability to read, write and speak English; - Physical endurance required over 12-hour shift; - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg) required; - Must wear all required PPE including gloves, face masks, face shields and hearing protection. Shift Requirements: - Continental 12-hour Shifts; - Day Shift 7:00am – 7:00pm; - Shift Rotation (7 shifts over 2-week period): - Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun - Week 2: Wed, Thurs - Paid Breaks: 60 minutes total. Working Conditions: - Exposure to moving mechanical parts, forklift traffic, wet/humid conditions and outdoor weather. - Exposure to cleaning chemicals and production chemicals; - High noise environment.
