Corporate Process Engineering Co-Op (Brampton)

Description We are currently seeking a Corporate Process Engineering Co-Op to join our process engineering team at our Corporate Engineering department location in Brampton, ON. This Co-Op position will work together as part of our team to develop skills through a learning process. It is a good chance for students who want to improve skills on P&ID; development using Plant 3D software, to put process engineering theory into practice, and to gain experience in process safety reviews. Responsibilities - Working closely with designers/ engineers on various tasks regarding preparing engineering documents. - Involved in P&ID; development using Plant 3D and/or AutoCAD, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances. - Involved in general administration tasks such as organizing document and files - Other duties as may be required with additional information Qualifications - Current student enrolled in a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering program. Recent graduates will be considered as well. - Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision - Demonstrated as a quick leaner and eager to learn current knowledge - Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail when preparing engineering drawings and documents - Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point Benefits of Employment IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
