Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. Responsibilities - Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to maintain cleanliness and coat health - Trimming, clipping, and styling fur according to breed standards or customer preferences - Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and expressing glands as needed - Handling dogs safely and gently to reduce stress and ensure a positive grooming experience - Maintaining a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment - Communicating effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare advice - Managing heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier dogs during grooming procedures - Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring satisfaction with grooming services Experience - Previous experience in dog grooming or a related pet care field is required - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners - Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when lifting or moving larger dogs - Passion for animals and dedication to their well-being - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This position offers an engaging opportunity for animal lovers who enjoy working with pets and providing top-quality grooming services.
