Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. This role requires a passion for food preparation, solid cooking skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and quality standards Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures Assist in meal preparation and food presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area Ensure all food handling complies with health regulations and safety guidelines Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing excellent food service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages Follow all restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Basic knowledge of meal preparation and food industry operations Reliable with a robust work ethic and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting moderate loads Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$26.03 per hour Advantages: On-site parking Store discount Experience: Grilling: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: Food Handler Certification (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p91ra
