Canadian Business Disability Inclusion Network (CBDIN) Remote | Canada-wide Contract: 30 months, with potential to transition to a full-time role Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 Hours: 35 hours/ week Lead the delivery of a national research initiative The Canadian Business Disability Inclusion Network (CBDIN) is advancing a national research initiative examining how workplace accessibility and accommodation practices shape employment outcomes for people with disabilities. This work is being delivered in collaboration with some of Canada's most recognized employers and leading academic research partners, bringing together rigorous research and real-world implementation. CBDIN is seeking a Project Manager to lead the operational execution of this initiative. The Opportunity This is a high-responsibility, hands-on role with direct exposure to senior leaders across business. You will be responsible for operationalizing a multi-year national research initiative, working closely with the Executive Director, research leads, academic partners, and participating employers. The role combines project management, operations, and content development, with a focus on delivering high-quality, credible outputs that are practical and relevant for employers. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution - Translate the research design into a clear, detailed project plan with timelines, milestones, and task tracking - Maintain and update project trackers, timelines, and status reports on a weekly basis - Schedule and coordinate regular meetings with research partners, employers, and advisory group members - Prepare agendas, materials, and follow-ups for meetings - Track action items and ensure timely completion across all stakeholders - Monitor risks, flag issues early, and support problem-solving - Deploy surveys, track participation and response rates, and coordinate or conduct interviews as part of research implementation Operations & Financial Management - Track project expenses and maintain up-to-date budget records - Undertake day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including invoice processing, expense tracking, payment coordination, and financial record maintenance - Reconcile expenses and maintain organized financial documentation to support reporting, audits, and grant compliance requirements - Support preparation of periodic financial and progress reports - Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and funding partners as required Content & Knowledge Translation - Draft and edit research summaries, reports, and employer-facing resources - Prepare slide decks, briefing notes, and written updates for internal and external audiences - Format documents for clarity, accessibility, and consistency - Coordinate feedback and revisions across contributors Stakeholder Coordination & Support - Support outreach and onboarding of participating employers - Coordinate communications with participants and partners - Maintain organized contact lists and engagement tracking - Respond to routine inquiries and support a professional participant experience Qualifications & Experience - 3+ years of project management experience - Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience with bookkeeping, expense reconciliation, and financial administration - Excellent writing and editing skills - Ability to translate complex information into explicit, practical content - Strong proficiency in Excel and financial tracking - Experience using accounting and bookkeeping software (e.g., Quick Books or similar platforms) is an asset Assets - Experience related to disability inclusion, accessibility, or workplace equity - Experience working on research, policy, or data-driven projects Language - Bilingualism (English and French) is strongly preferred Equity & Inclusion CBDIN is committed to building an inclusive and accessible workplace.
