Safety and Security Manager Toronto, Brampton

Drive safety excellence at Vehicle Logistic Centers as the Safety and Security Manager in Toronto, Ontario. Oversee a dedicated team and implement comprehensive safety programs across operations.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of VLC Operations, this role requires at least 5 years of experience, with 3 years in people management. You'll blend occupational health and safety knowledge with facility security to cultivate a proactive safety culture. Elevate worker knowledge and compliance through effective leadership and educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead implementation of safety program and compliance monitoring • Manage daily operations of the Security team effectively • Co-lead safety committee and engage in national safety discussions • Conduct inspections and safety talks with site leadership • Liaise with HR regarding workers’ compensation reporting

Requirements:• 5+ years of overall experience, 3+ years in management • 3–5 years in health and safety and facility security • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Valid driver’s license and BST licence (Ontario only) • Excellent communication and customer service skills
