We know that empowerment leads to strong employee engagement, a great work culture, and motivated employees **Position Summary** At Nestlu00e9 Canada, we are looking for a Lean Flow Optimization Manager to drive end-to-end optimization of our logistics network across transportation and warehousing. This role plays a critical part in improving cost efficiency, operational performance, and sustainability by leveraging Lean methodologies and advanced analytics. You will lead cross-functional initiatives that optimize product flow from source to destination while enabling smarter decision-making across the supply chain. _Note: this is an existing position._ **A day in the life of a Lean Flow Optimization Manager:** **Network Optimization & Strategy** u2022 Drive optimization of domestic and international transportation and warehousing flows u2022 Identify and implement initiatives to reduce cost-to-serve while maintaining service levels u2022 Support short- and long-term logistics strategies aligned with business objectives u2022 Contribute to the design and improvement of end-to-end supply chain flows **Lean & Continuous Improvement** u2022 Apply Lean methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, flow mapping, waste reduction) to optimize processes u2022 Lead initiatives focused on eliminating inefficiencies and improving operational performance u2022 Utilize structured change management approaches (e.g., Kotter model) to drive adoption u2022 Promote best practices across logistics and supply chain teams **Project Management** u2022 Lead and support strategic logistics projects aligned with the Supply Chain roadmap u2022 Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and track project progress u2022 Develop presentations, dashboards, and reporting to communicate progress and insights u2022 Ensure successful delivery of projects from design through execution readiness **Analytics & Performance Insights** u2022 Analyze transportation and warehousing data to identify improvement opportunities u2022 Develop and track KPIs related to cost, cube utilization, transit time, and service levels u2022 Provide data-driven recommendations to influence business and supply chain decisions u2022 Support sustainability initiatives through COu2082 tracking and efficiency improvements **Stakeholder Collaboration** u2022 Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and external partners u2022 Influence decision-making through strong analytics and cost-to-serve insights u2022 Collaborate with third-party carriers and warehouse providers to optimize performance **What will make you successful?** u2022 Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, or Supply Chain u2022 Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset u2022 Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain operations u2022 Proven experience managing cross-functional projects u2022 Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations u2022 Experience in distribution network design, transportation optimization, or warehousing u2022 Strong analytical skills with experience in cost analysis and performance reporting u2022 Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks **Preferred Skills** u2022 Strong project management and organizational skills u2022 Ability to influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo u2022 Excellent communication and presentation skills u2022 Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment We have a friendly, supportive team with a coaching and mentoring environment.
