This independent contractor role emphasizes leadership in creating plant designs and layouts for mining projects. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will lead a multidisciplinary project team while utilizing Microstation V8, E3D, and AutoCAD for mechanical layouts. With over 15 years of experience in heavy industrial design and an EPCM setting, you will also provide mentorship and conduct troubleshooting analysis. Your insights will help shape project missions that meet client requirements effectively.Key Responsibilities

Lead project teams in multidisciplinary design Create detailed mechanical layouts for mining projects Extract 3‑D drawings from models and validate accuracy Manage budgets and schedules for design deliverables Mentor design team members and support project solutions Requirements

Minimum 15 years in heavy industrial design Experience with Bentley and 3‑D Microstation Knowledge of mining processes preferred Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Strong communication and project management skills Utilize your extensive mechanical design experience to drive success in the mining sector with EXP.
