Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services on vehicles, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. This position is crucial in providing high-quality automotive care to our customers. Responsibilities - Conduct oil changes and fluid checks on vehicles to maintain optimal performance. - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. - Assist customers with inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance and services offered. - Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction. - Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle. Requirements - Previous experience in a dealership or mechanic environment is preferred. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose basic automotive issues. - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients. - Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle maintenance tasks. - Familiarity with automotive repair processes and maintenance best practices. - Sales experience is a plus, as you may assist in promoting additional services to customers.
