Server (East End)

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role is vital in delivering a memorable dining experience and supporting the overall operations of our establishment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties - Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit - Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen - Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards - Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems - Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, utensils, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards - Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support team operations - Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours - Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction - Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times Qualifications - Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly desirable, especially in serving roles within restaurants or the food industry - Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus - Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction - Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments - Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy - Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed - Positive communication skills and a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required This position offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can shine while providing excellent service to our guests.
