What We Can Offer You - Competitive Pay - Paid Vacation - Bonus Pay - Reliable Monday-Friday Hours - Hybrid - Primarily from home, one onsite day per month. - Overtime (When required) What You Will Do - Prepare accurate and detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD and BIM software. - Interpret structural engineering sketches, notes, and specifications into comprehensive construction documents. - Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent. - Modify existing drawings as required, incorporating engineering changes and field revisions. - Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning bylaws, and Manitoba or National specific construction standards. - Maintain drawing and document control procedures and file management systems. - Keep up-to-date with new drafting technologies, building materials, and Manitoba construction regulations. - Any other duties as assigned by the general manager. What You Will Need - Diploma in Engineering Technology required; - Valid Class 5 Driver’s License - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building design - Strong understanding of Manitoba and National Building Codes - Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, SketchUp) required; willingness to learn and adopt new modelling tools is essential - Experience working with Hutterite colonies considered an asset - Project management experience considered an asset - Solid communication and leadership skills Note: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in precast concrete. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ock45
