Client-Focused Recreation Worker Position, Brandon Region (Killarney)

Support clients' health and recovery as a Client-Focused Recreation Worker. Engage in designing and implementing recreation programs tailored to elevate the physical and mental wellness of individuals.

Ideal candidates will have a Grade 12 education, a Food Handler Certificate, and at least two years of relevant experience directly working with clients in health care settings. A Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. Strong communication and organizational skills will enable you to thrive in this demanding position.

Key Responsibilities:• Organize and plan specialized recreational activities • Provide instruction and information to clients and teams • Adapt programs according to client progress and needs • Ensure client safety and rights during activities • Record and report on activity participation and statistics

Requirements:• Grade 12 education or equivalent, with relevant experience • Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) • Minimum two years of experience in a related field • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
