This position is a hybrid position, and the successful candidate should be located within 3 hours of our head office (Virden, Manitoba) or plan to relocate as necessary. The role requires multiple in‑office visits.Duties

Lead projects to automate accounts payable, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting Review daily accounting including journal entries, banking, and accruals Assist with review of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end reporting across multiple entities Oversee auditors during year‑end and liaise to assist with solving complex accounting issuesPrepare 13‑week cash flow forecasts Assist in managing tax and compliance with all applicable tax regulations, including GST and PST in Manitoba and Saskatchewan Maintain internal controls and safeguard company assets Maintain and improve processes in the companys accounting systems and financial policiesAssist the preparation of all Covenant reporting to the companys banking partners Support the Director of FP&A in the annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts Support project costing, capital expenditure planning, and grant funding compliance for infrastructure development. Mentor accountants and support an environment of continuous learning and development Qualifications

CPA designation with 3-5 years of post‑designation experience in industry Knowledge of ASPE High level of proficiency with Excel and accounting / financial reporting systems including NetSuite and Vena How to Apply
