Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. - Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. - Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. - Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. - Participate in training new kitchen staff members as required. Requirements - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. - Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in the food industry. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - A passion for meal preparation and creating high-quality dishes that delight customers.
