Property Maintenance Manager (Brandon)

Job Summary Brandon Maintenance Services is a growing property management company providing full-service management to investment property owners. We are currently looking to add a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Manager to our team. This position is ideal for someone who is experienced in general project management for property maintenance and renovations, enjoys solving problems, and is able to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Our work includeds routine property maintenance, repairs, and renovations of any size across a variety of commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities - Perform general maintenance and repair work in residential and commerical properties. - Maintain a positive working relationship with tenants, clients and team members. - Complete multiple maintenance tasks efficiently throughout the day. - Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. - Perform light plubming and basic electrical repairs - Complete drywall repairs, painting, and minor framing when required. - Installation of windows and doors when required. - Installation of different types of flooring. - Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs. - Maintain orgaized work practices and complete jobs in a timely manner - Operate a company vehicle and occasioinally pull a trailer when needed. Typical Work Includes - Basic electrical - light fixtures, outlets and light switches - Minor plumbing - faucets, toilets, drains, hotwater tanks - troublshooting issues with these. It is considered an assest if you are familiar with cooper and pex. - Minor appliance repair - changing elements when needed - Window and door repair/replacement - installing fixtures and hardware - Minor framing for showers, windows and doors - Flooring installation - Drywalling, mudding and painting. Minimum Requirements - Valid Class 5 Driver's License - Experience in maintenance, construction or renovations - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Safety-orinted with the ability to follow instructions. Compensation and Benefits - $22-$28/hr depending on experience - Full-time, stable employement - Employee advantages package after 6 months.
