Linde Canada Inc. Class 3 Route Delivery Driver (full time) Brandon, MB, Canada | req29362 The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers. What you will enjoy doing* - You will be responsible to load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents - Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of *Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is part of your role - Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks - Further, you will complete shipping orders and related paperwork - Additionally, complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports - Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor - Also, you will identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and ensure maintenance or repairs are conducted with minimal disruption to the operation What makes you great* - You have a minimum of two (2) years of Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience - Your provincial Driver's License is valid, incident-free, and includes air brake endorsement - Moreover you are able to manipulate a variety of cylinder sizes and weights as required - Knowledgeable in compressed gases and safe handling - Your strong mechanical aptitude sets you apart - And you are able to lift up to 60 pounds - Trained in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company.
