Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Participate in training new kitchen staff members as required. Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen or food service workplace is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
