Key responsibilities include documenting care, overseeing unregulated care providers, and coordinating resident care plans. Active participation in care conferences and effective communication with families will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: • Complete resident care assessments and service plans • Order and safeguard medications, administering as required • Facilitate resident and family education sessions • Supervise unregulated care providers and delegate tasks • Respond to medical emergencies and significant resident changes Requirements: • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in your province • Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers • Solid communication and critical thinking skills • Proven clinical knowledge and ability to delegate • Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening Contribute to compassionate care for residents at Extendicare, maximizing their quality of life through skilled nursing practices.
