Dispatcher (Burford)

Job Description Precision Specialized is currently seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within the transportation and logistics Industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Providing safe, smooth and secure transportation solutions to current & existing customers - Price shipments internally and externally – primarily open-deck flatbed freight - Schedule, track and update shipment statuses to customers - Assist other team members with general administrative and operational tasks - Work with internal sales team to execute service offerings Education and/or Experience - Education Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Experience Preferred: One (1) year in a related field of over-the-road transportation and brokerage. Skills & Attributes Required - Speak and write English - Microsoft Word & Excel experience - Good email & phone communication skills - Experience using FleetManager is a benefit. - Punctual, attentive to detail and adept with timelines and pressure. - Able to work in a team environment - you will be working in a team of people. This is an in-office only opportunity and potential candidates must be willing to be onsite 5 days a week at our Burford, ON location.
