Forklift Operator - Counterbalance (Brantford)

Job Title: Forklift Operator - Counterbalance Payrate: $24/hour Available Shifts - Continental Days 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - Continental Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Straight Night Shift (Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) Summary: Kelly is hiring experienced Counterbalance Operators for a leading client in Brantford! Key Responsibilities: - Perform accurate cycle counts and correct inventory errors - Pick and load outbound shipments without damage and in a timely manner - Maintain a clean, organized, and damage-free warehouse - Monitor and maintain automated stretch wrappers and system dunnage levels - Wrap finished goods and scan to storage locations - Load/unload and troubleshoot logistics equipment (e.g., wrappers, dock locks, battery stations) - Communicate daily with warehouse and production leadership - Verify product, labeling, and packaging before loading trucks - Inspect trailers and complete documentation prior to loading Qualifications: - MUST have a Valid external Forklift License - Minimum 2 years of experience operating a counter balance - Ability to lift 30–45 lbs multiple times per day - Ability to safely operate a forklift in high-traffic, low-clearance areas - Strong vision, hearing, and communication skills - Ability to work independently in isolated areas - Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment preferred Why Join Us: - Opportunity for permanent hire with a competitive pay increase - Work in a clean, organized, and safety-focused facility - Supportive team setting with room for growth - Gain valuable experience in a high-performance warehouse operation Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: - Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Application question(s): - Are you willing and eligible to pass a criminal background check?
