Production Control (Material) Planner (Brantford)

Advantages of the Role: - Competitive compensation - Excellent Total Rewards Package (100% company paid medical/dental benefits, vacation, RRSP) - Clean and secure temperature & humidity-controlled manufacturing environment - Employer paid uniform and PPE - Training, development, and growth opportunities Duties & Responsibilities: - Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay - Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand - Monitor operations to ensure on time completion and within budget - Address issues aiming for minimal disruption - Prepare shipping and receiving documentation - Receive materials and shipments in computer system - Monitor and records materials, sub assembly and finished product inventory levels - Communication with Vendors as required Qualifications: - 3+ years experience as a production control planner in a manufacturing environment and/or demonstrated work experience; automotive preferred - Understanding and experience with deliveries and shipments within a manufacturing environment - Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multi-task - Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced setting - Superior attention to detail in all areas of work - Professional appearance and manners - Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and ERP systems - Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. strives to create a respectful, accessible and inclusive work environment.
