Exciting Career Path: Upon completing the program, you’ll be ready to take on the role of a manager at one of our Profit Center locations. The sky's the limit when it comes to your career progression at EMCO! Base Salary – $52,500 + Profit Sharing We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program. This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training; relocation assistance will be provided. Opportunities are available across the country. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management, to employee development and more. You will get to know our customers by growing a sales territory of your own and providing world‑class customer service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO. Program Outline 1. Phase 1 (12 months): Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with logistics, order management, inventory controls, credit management, financial statements, and related activities. 2. Phase 2 (12 months): Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage large projects, read blueprint drawings, create quotes, and maintain customer and vendor relationships. 3. Phase 3 (15‑18 months): Account Management and Proactive Sales – Find recent business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, expand the customer base, and build level 5 customer partnerships. 4. Phase 4 (3 months): Leadership and Operations – Provide strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and manage the business through coaching, coaching, and strategic planning. Once you have completed the phases, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.
