About TucTucs TucTucs is a small-batch, Ontario-based pet treat company creating single-ingredient, freeze-dried treats for dogs, cats, and other carnivorous pets. We focus on quality, transparency, and eco-friendly packaging using BPI-certified compostable bags. We’re growing and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to join us at the ground level and help support production, packing, and day-to-day operations. The Role This is a casual, part-time position with flexible scheduling. Hours vary week to week depending on production needs, wholesale orders, and event prep. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow with a small business and take on more responsibility over time. Scheduling (Flexible) - Versatile scheduling — hours vary week to week based on production, wholesale orders, and event prep - When hours are available, you’ll typically work 2+ shifts per week (rather than all hours in one day) - In slower weeks with limited hours, shifts may be reduced - We’re looking for someone who can be consistently available week to week, even though the exact hours may change Responsibilities - Packing and preparing customer and wholesale orders - Weighing and packaging freeze-dried treats - Labelling bags, stamping boxes, and organizing inventory - Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized workspace - Assisting with production tasks (including chopping/handling raw meat) - Supporting event prep and occasional weekend event assistance - Handling and moving inventory, including heavier items when needed - General organization and support across the business Opportunities to Grow For the right candidate, there is room to grow into: - Social media support - Sales and customer-facing roles - Basic computer-based tasks What We’re Looking For - Reliable and punctual - Strong attention to detail (very important) - Comfortable working independently - Able to follow instructions and stay organized - Comfortable handling raw and freeze-dried animal products - Able to lift and move moderately heavy items when needed - Comfortable standing for long periods of time - Comfortable working in an environment where dogs may be present Hours & Pay - Casual / part-time (approx. 4–12 hours/week to start) - Hours vary based on business needs - Located in Brantford, ON - Pay: $17.60–$20/hour, depending on experience Why Work With TucTucs You’ll be working directly with a growing local brand — not a big corporation.
