Production and Operations Associate (Smiths Falls)

Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Production and Operations Associate to support the day-to-day manufacturing, packaging, and fulfillment of our products. This role is central to keeping production and order flow running smoothly in a small-batch manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be trained in product handling, batching, and equipment use as required. This position is primarily independent, with the majority of day-to-day work completed alone in the production environment, with periodic check-ins and coordination with the owners. Key Responsibilities Production and Manufacturing - Measure and mix raw materials according to production instructions - Operate filling and production equipment such as pumps, mixers, and packaging tools - Support oil and wax processing and batch preparation under established procedures Packaging and Fulfillment - Fill, label, and package finished products accurately - Ensure correct batch tracking, labeling, and documentation - Prepare orders for shipping and assist with fulfillment workflows Quality Control - Perform basic quality checks on finished products - Identify and report inconsistencies or issues in production Inventory and Supplies - Assist with receiving and organizing raw materials and finished goods - Support inventory tracking and reporting of shortages - Assist with small supply orders as needed Shipping and Logistics Support - Prepare shipments for outbound delivery - Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation - Coordinate with carriers as required to support timely dispatch Safety and Maintenance - Follow all safety procedures and WHMIS guidelines - Maintain a clean and organized production area - Use required PPE at all times Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience in manufacturing or production considered an asset - Ability to safely operate or learn production equipment - Robust attention to detail and reliability - Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Basic computer skills for inventory and record keeping - WHMIS and First Aid considered assets - Dangerous goods handling and shipping certification considered an asset Working Conditions - Primarily independent work with minimal direct supervision - Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks - Exposure to raw materials and production environments - PPE required including boots, gloves, goggles, and masks as needed - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, 35 hours per week Benefits - Competitive pay - Training and development opportunities - Employee product discounts KingsFleet Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
