Kitchen Prep Cook (Iroquois)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Prep Cook to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that food preparation runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting the overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment and contribute to creating delicious meals for our guests. Key: Start time will be 10-11am, 3-4 a day. Must be reliable. Duties - Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards - Handle food safely during preparation, storage, and service to prevent contamination - Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently completing assigned tasks - Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and quality standards Skills - Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred - Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations - Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene - Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members This role is vital for maintaining smooth kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
