Description
Support student achievement as a Learning Coach at St. Lawrence College's Brockville campus. Assist individuals with disabilities in developing vital academic strategies and accommodations tailored to their needs. Your main focus will be to work one-on-one with students to enhance their time management, organization, and study skills. This role may include attending classes to provide note-taking support and proctoring tests as necessary. Flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend availability, is a must. Key Responsibilities: • Implement strategies for individual skill development • Attend classes as an assigned note taker • Proctor assessments in the Test Centre • Collaborate with coordinators on student needs • Perform other tasks as required Requirements: • 2-year diploma in a related field • Two years of experience with disabled students • Effective communication skills • Understanding of educational disability legislation • Competency in essential computer applications Utilize your skills to contribute to an inclusive educational workplace at St. Lawrence College.
