Lead mental health initiatives as a Registered Nurse Team Leader in the Secure Treatment Unit. This role encompasses clinical expertise and management in a dynamic setting.
The Secure Treatment Unit invites applications for a Registered Nurse Team Leader focused on mental health recovery and rehabilitation. Candidates are expected to have nursing experience and demonstrate a thorough understanding of mental health and addiction challenges. Your leadership within the interdisciplinary team will shape effective treatment interventions and enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:• Oversee nursing care delivery in a secure unit • Implement the Risk Needs Responsivity Model for assessments • Facilitate trauma-informed care within treatment units • Monitor compliance with professional nursing standards • Coordinate with various professionals to enhance patient recovery
Requirements:• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Experience in nursing practice, up to three months • Knowledge of addiction and mental health issues • Recent CPR certification (within 12 months) • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
