Pharmacist, Rideau Lakes area (Kemptville)

What you’ll do

Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.

Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patient needs.

Provide friendly, positive, and proactive counseling to patients about new and additional medications.

Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities such as public health days and clinics.

Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.

Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).

Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPG’s).

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A pharmacist license required.

Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism.

Excellent leadership and performance‑management skills.

Proven ability to build business using community‑based marketing strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem‑solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.

Strong personal computing skills, and knowledge of HealthWatch and/or Kroll Pharmacy computer system a definite asset.
