St. Lawrence College Learning Coach Position (Prescott)

Elevate academic success at St. Lawrence College as a Learning Coach at the Brockville campus. Work directly with students needing accommodations to strengthen their academic skills tailored to their specific challenges.

This position involves individual coaching sessions to foster skills in study techniques, organization, and time management. You may also be assigned to attend classes for note-taking duties or proctor testing sessions as required. Evening and weekend work may be necessary depending on student needs.

Key Responsibilities: • Work with students to develop practical study strategies • Provide note-taking assistance in classes • Supervise test taking in the College Test Centre • Customize support strategies based on student needs • Complete assigned tasks from Accessibility coordinators

Requirements: • At least a 2-year diploma in relevant areas • Minimum two years working with students with disabilities • Robust interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge of relevant disability rights legislation • Proficient in use of computer applications
