Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) (Brockville)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role requires a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to improving resident care. Experience in retirement living is highly valued. The RPN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive nursing services and ensure patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities - Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols - Monitor resident health status through assessments and vital sign measurements - Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and personal care needs - Document patient information accurately using electronic health records - Provide specialized care for patients with dementia and palliative care needs. - Educate patients and families about health conditions, medication management, and care plans - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans - Ensure compliance with all safety standards and infection control procedures - Support case management activities to coordinate ongoing resident care Skills - Proven experience in retirement homes, hospital, or home care environments - Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pain management techniques - Familiarity with electronic health record systems - Robust patient care skills with an emphasis on dementia, senior care, palliative care. - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with residents and families Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pazs4
