Life Insurance Sales Representative Location: Smiths Falls, Ontario

Responsibilities

Established personalized telephone contact with the clients. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sales of home/auto/life insurance policies. Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies

Seizes all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers

Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals

Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance

Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification

Requirements

Sales experience (preferred)

Successful track record of meeting sales goals

Self-motivated and strong leadership skills

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills - written, verbal and listening

Ability to relate to customers

Strong work ethics with a total commitment to success each and every day

Ability to work as a team, multi-task and attention to detail

Ability to make presentations to potential customers

Strong understanding of social media/technology

Qualifications

Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

Strong understanding of social media/technology

Product/sales experience (required)

College diploma in a related field

2 years of life experience (preferred)
